MARACHA DPC JOINS DISTRICT ENDORSEMENT DRIVE FOR GEN. MUHOOZI KAINERUGABA

-

 MARACHA, UGANDA — September 17, 2026

The District Police Commander (DPC) of Maracha has joined residents and participants at the district endorsement launch in support of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, as the endorsement drive continues across different parts of Uganda.

The Maracha event forms part of a wider mobilisation and endorsement exercise associated with the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU). Recent reports indicate that similar endorsement activities have been launched in other districts, with endorsement books being used to collect signatures in support of Kainerugaba's reported 2031 presidential ambitions.

The participation of local officials and community members has placed Maracha among the districts taking part in the ongoing grassroots endorsement activities.

The exercise is expected to continue with further engagement at community level as organisers seek to expand the endorsement campaign across the West Nile sub-region and beyond.
