The allegations remain subject to investigation and due process. Being arrested or interdicted does not by itself establish criminal guilt or administrative wrongdoing, and the specific allegations against each official will have to be determined through the appropriate investigative, disciplinary or judicial processes.
The Pallisa developments are expected to keep public attention focused on accountability, management of public resources and the quality of service delivery in the district as the investigations proceed.
